Smoos (“Sweet Mousse Of Original Spirits”) is a typically Savoyard emulsified drink, created by Olivier Marmet and made in Chambéry by IBEX. The recipe contains 4/10 spirit at 40% ABV, and uses no dairy base, only pectin and plant-based emulsifiers, so the aromas of the spirit stay intact. It is vegan and lactose-free, with a firm, white and glossy texture that holds for 20 to 30 minutes on hot or cold dishes.
120 ml aluminium can, 16% ABV, recyclable with packaging waste. Less than 1% fat. Store at room temperature, before and after opening: 3 years unopened, 3 months once opened. Serve between 15 and 25 °C, ideally around 20 °C. Ingredients: water, alcohol, sugar, pectin, emulsifiers (E471, E472c), citric acid.
